"It's the most wonderful time of the year." 'Now Dasher! Now Dancer! Now Prancer and Vixen! On Paxil, on Copaxone, Diazapam, and Betaseron.!'
Yes, it's that time once again. Time to lose the maladies and gather with family and friends. And do remember to enjoy yourself. You've earned it!
But that's not why you called. Where have I been for the last several months? I've been prepping for Macworld San Francisco, reviewing products, gift hunting and operating the wildly successful 'Dad Taxi Co.' So, I apologize for the dearth of articles.
What I have done in the meantme is made a couple of changes to my office plan. As I don't entertain guests here, I decided to jettison the plan to incorporate the dining table. Instead, I went to IKEA and purchased several modular units that give me more desktop real estate. In fact, one area is a peninsula that serves several functions. One it's my daily dining area. Right next to the kitchen, can't be bad. During the day, it serves as a lar,ge area for my paperwork and bills. It's also become a nice area to chat with someone, so long as you put a chair on the other side.
I hope your project has been working out. Please email me with words and/or pictures to share with everyone.
Unfortunately, I most likely will not return to my project until sometime in March. (Bald -faced plug directly up ahead.) That's be cause I've taken the basis for these articles and turned it into a website, handiapped.com. Dennis was generous enough to include my site, with some other partners, on the home page. Please stop by and register; it's free!
My hope is for the site to grow with your input. What do you like? What do you hate? What would you like to see. It's been taking a little longer than expected as I'm trying to make it accessible to everyone. And with a bit of luck, I'll eventually make enough money from ad revenu to offset part of the cost of my insurance.
So, until Part 6, enjoy yourselves and make merry.
